This policy explains what happens to information about you when you visit DoW4 Tools at https://dawnofwar4tools.com. The short version: we do not ask for personal information, there are no accounts, and our tools run entirely in your browser. Our hosting provider and Google, for ads and for visit counting, process some data as described below.
What stays in your browser
Our tools, such as the countdown and the edition picker, run in your browser and send nothing to us. If a tool remembers a choice, it is saved in your own browser's local storage; it never leaves your device, and you can delete it by clearing this site's data in your browser. The site has no sign-up, no comments and no forms. Apart from Google Analytics, described below, we run no tracking tools.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you requested. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Analytics
It is not switched on yet. Until it is, no analytics script loads on this site and no analytics cookies are set. The rest of this section describes how it will work once it is on.
We use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are read, how visitors find the site (for example through a search engine) and which "Continue reading" links are clicked. That tells us which tools and guides help players and what to improve. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes data such as your IP address and browser details on Google's servers. We only see totals, never who you are, and we have turned off Google signals and ad personalization for it.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies stay off until you allow them in the banner. Elsewhere they are on unless you choose "No thanks". Clicks on "Continue reading" links are only counted after you allow analytics. You can change your choice at any time:

Advertising and cookies
Some pages load Google AdSense to show ads, which pays for the site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this website and to other websites. Google's advertising cookies let Google and its partners show you ads based on those visits.

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
