How much does Dawn of War 4 cost?

On the US Steam store the Standard Edition is $59.99 and the Commander Edition $89.99, both 10% off as a pre-order until launch (checked October 22, 2026). Prices in other countries differ.

Is Dawn of War 4 on PS5, Xbox or Mac?

No version for those has been announced. Deep Silver says Dawn of War IV will be released on Steam for PC (Windows), and the Steam store page lists Windows only.

Who is making Dawn of War 4?

KING Art Games develops it, the studio behind the real-time strategy game Iron Harvest, and Deep Silver publishes it. Warhammer 40,000 belongs to Games Workshop.

What factions are in Dawn of War 4?

Four at launch: the Space Marines, Orks, Necrons and Adeptus Mechanicus. The Space Marines include two playable Chapters, the Blood Ravens and the Dark Angels, and the Adeptus Mechanicus are playable in the series for the first time. The paid Aftermath expansion adds a fifth faction that has not been named yet.

How long is the Dawn of War 4 campaign?

The developer has not given a play time, but there are more than 70 campaign missions across four campaigns, one per faction, which feed into one overall story on the planet Kronus with branching choices. The story is co-written by Black Library author John French.

Does Dawn of War 4 have co-op?

Yes. Every campaign can be played solo or in co-op, and the developer says Last Stand, Skirmish and multiplayer support co-op too. In Last Stand you team up with two other players.

What multiplayer modes does Dawn of War 4 have?

1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 at launch, on 30 multiplayer maps. In Quick Match the default win condition is Annihilation (destroy every enemy headquarters), and you can also pick Domination (hold Strategic Positions for Victory Points) and Maelstrom (take objectives that appear around the map).

Is there ranked multiplayer in Dawn of War 4?

Deep Silver has not said. The official posts describe Quick Match with a choice of win conditions, but none of them mentions a ranked ladder. We will add it here when it is confirmed.

How do Commanders work in multiplayer?

Outside the campaigns, Commanders are generic faction units. You choose one before the match, together with your faction and starting position, and usually build it from your headquarters mid-match after some unlocks. Match settings can make it a starting unit or switch Commanders off.

Is Last Stand in Dawn of War 4?

Yes, the fan-favorite mode returns. You team up with two allies and hold out against waves of stronger and stronger enemies, leveling up your characters and unlocking new skills and equipment. The Year 1 roadmap adds Lord Ahmnok and Guzcutta to Last Stand as free updates.

Is Crusade mode in Dawn of War 4 at launch?

The newest official posts list Crusade Mode as a free update in Year One, the first item on the 2027 roadmap. An earlier post, from May 2026, had said five Commanders would have their own Crusade at launch. Crusade is an endless mode with a turn-based map of Kronus: you spend Action Points to move your Strike Force, fight the hard battles yourself and spend Requisition on your territories. A typical Crusade takes eight to ten hours.

Can I paint my army in Dawn of War 4?

Yes, with the Painter tool: colors, decals and wargear for your units. It comes with ready-made schemes for popular Space Marine Chapters, and you can make and share your own. Your scheme shows everywhere except the campaign.

How do I get into the Dawn of War 4 closed beta?

The closed beta runs from October 21 to 26, 2026, for selected players only. Players from earlier playtests and newsletter subscribers who signed up before October 18 could apply, and applying did not guarantee a place. It has 1v1 Skirmish against the AI and scheduled 1v1 multiplayer sessions, and testers may not record, stream or share screenshots.

I have a beta invite, but the game is not in my library. What now?

Deep Silver says selected players get the next steps by email, including how to contact Customer Support for technical, account or access problems. Use those instructions, or the official Dawn of War IV support page linked below. We have no official fix to give beyond that.

What languages does Dawn of War 4 support?

Full voice acting in English. Interface and subtitles in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Turkish, according to Steam.

What DLC is planned for Dawn of War 4?

Year One brings free updates (Crusade Mode, four map packs, the Mission Editor, and Lord Ahmnok and Guzcutta for Last Stand and Crusade) and two paid DLCs: the Blood Ravens Story Prologue and Aftermath, a campaign expansion with a new faction. The Commander Edition includes both paid DLCs; prices for buying them separately have not been announced.
