Questions

What is in the Dawn of War 4 Commander Edition?

The base game, the 3-Day Early Unlock (play from November 30), two paid DLCs (the Blood Ravens Story Prologue and the Aftermath campaign expansion with a new faction) and the digital soundtrack.

How much is Dawn of War 4?

On the US Steam store: Standard Edition $59.99, Commander Edition $89.99. Both are 10% off as a pre-order, $53.99 and $80.99 (checked October 22, 2026). Prices in other regions differ.

Is the Dawn of War 4 Commander Edition worth it?

It costs $30.00 more ($27.00 more with the pre-order discount). For that you get three days of early play, both story DLCs and the soundtrack. Whether that beats buying the DLCs later depends on their own prices, which Deep Silver has not announced. If you only play multiplayer or Skirmish, the Standard Edition has everything you need, and the free Year 1 updates come to both editions.

Does the Standard Edition get early access?

No. The 3-Day Early Unlock from November 30 is only in the Commander Edition. Standard Edition owners play from December 3.

Can I buy the Dawn of War 4 DLCs later?

Yes. Deep Silver says both paid DLCs, the Blood Ravens Story Prologue and Aftermath, will also be sold separately. Their prices and exact dates have not been announced; the roadmap puts the Prologue around spring 2027 and Aftermath in summer 2027.
