Terms of Use
Last updated
These terms apply when you use DoW4 Tools at https://dawnofwar4tools.com. They are short because the site is simple: free tools and guides, no accounts and nothing for sale. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.
An unofficial fan site
DoW4 Tools is made by fans of the game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Games Workshop, KING Art Games or Deep Silver. Warhammer 40,000, Dawn of War and all associated names are trademarks of Games Workshop Limited. We use these names only to say which game the site is about.
Game pictures belong to their owners and are credited where they appear; the About page explains how we use them. If the owners ask us to take a picture down, we do so at once. For help with the game itself, your account or your purchase, please use the official channels on the Dawn of War IV website.
Using the tools and guides
Everything here is free to use while you play, and there is nothing to sign up for. You are welcome to link to any page and to quote a few sentences with a link back to the page they come from. Please do not copy whole guides, tables or tools to another website or app, or present them as your own work.
Our tools run in your browser. Anything a tool remembers is saved only in your own browser, so clearing this site's data removes it. The Privacy Policy explains this.
How far you can rely on the information
Facts come from the official Dawn of War IV website and the developer's posts first. After launch we also add what players find in the game, but only after we have checked it in game footage against a second source; anything that has only one source is marked “not yet verified”. Dawn of War IV is not out yet and will receive patches and updates, so a date, price or game detail described here can change or turn out to be wrong. That is why each tool and guide shows when it was last updated and lists its sources at the bottom.
Check anything important in the game yourself before you rely on it. The site is provided as it is, without any promise that it is complete, correct or always available. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses in your games, or anywhere else, that come from using it.
Ads and links to other sites
Some pages load Google AdSense to show ads, which pays for the site. Google chooses the ads, not us, and an ad is not a recommendation. Links to other websites, such as the official Dawn of War IV website, Steam and the gameplay videos behind player-reported facts, are there so you can check our sources. We do not control those sites. How ads and visit counting use cookies is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Corrections
If something here does not match the game, please tell us through the Contact page. When you send a correction or an idea, we may use it to improve the site. We never publish your email address.
Changes to these terms
We may change the site and these terms. When the terms change, we update the date at the top of this page, and the version shown here is the one that applies. Questions about these terms: email hi@dawnofwar4tools.com.
